Weapon Orientation Systems

Designed and tested on weapons ranging from the M16 up to mortars and towed artillery, WOM's unique calibration capabilities and performance make it a one-of-a-kind in inertial 3DOF orientation systems.

By incorporating camera images, OptoWOM is able to track orientation changes by comparing current images to stored reference images providing highly accurate azimuth that is inherently unaffected by magnetic interferences.

The combination of inertial and celestial tracking in a single device provides both high-frequency and high-precision tracking. Also, using celestial data CWOM will perform magnetic calibration on-the-fly eliminating any field calibration.

Currently under development, Inertial Labs Tri-GPS Interferometer takes a common idea and makes it more robust and relevant for broad application requirements.
