In the ever-evolving landscape of sensor technology, the Kernel-100 stands out as a testament to innovation and precision. As both an Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) and Digital Tilt Sensor, it encapsulates the fusion of multidimensional motion tracking with the acute accuracy of tilt measurement. We want to unpack the marvel that is the Kernel-100, delving deep into its features, applications, and the technological prowess that sets it apart. The all-new Kernel-100 is a breakthrough, fully integrated inertial solution that combines the latest MEMS sensor technologies.
Paeonian Springs, VA: The Kernel-100 is a revolutionary compact, self-contained strapdown industrial-grade inertial measurement system that measures linear acceleration and angular rates with three-axis MEMS accelerometers and three-axis MEMS gyroscopes. Fully calibrated, temperature compensated, and mathematically aligned to an orthogonal coordinate system, the Kernel-100 contains up to 2 deg/hr bias in-run stability gyroscopes and 10 μg bias in-run stability accelerometers with extremely low noise and high repeatability.
The Kernel-100 is a breakthrough, fully integrated inertial solution that combines the newest MEMS sensor technologies. This seamless integration allows Inertial Labs to provide an inertial system with top-of-the-line performance while maintaining a high-value price point. With its compact design and low power consumption, the Kernel-100 can easily integrate into a wide range of higher-order systems while consuming little space and power.
With continuous Built-in Test (BIT), configurable communications protocols, electromagnetic interference (EMI) protection, and flexible input power requirements, the Kernel-100 can be used in various environments and integrated system applications. Built to be used in air, marine, and land environments, the Kernel-100 can be integrated into Motion Reference Units (MRU), Attitude and Heading Reference Systems (AHRS), and GPS-Aided Inertial Navigation Systems (INS). As a result, the Kernel-100 is ideal for various applications such as autonomous vehicles, antenna and line-of-sight stabilization systems, and buoy or boat motion monitoring.
Inertial Labs, already the leader in position and orientation sensor technologies, is growing its catalog of innovative solutions at the best value, smallest size, and lowest power consumption.
