Product Release: TAG-200 and TAG-300 – Two and Three Axis Gyroscopes for Stabilization Platforms

New Small, Precise Multi-Axis Gyroscopes (TAG) Increase Versatility for Commercial and Military Electro-Optical Stabilization Applications.

All-new TAG-200 and TAG-300 by Inertial Labs deliver increased performance and cost savings.

Paeonian Springs, VA: With the brand-new TAG-200 and TAG-300, Inertial Labs can offer significant cost savings for electro-optical systems, remote weapons stations, and stabilization platforms without sacrificing quality or accuracy. The TAG product line consists of two-axis and three-axis gyroscopes specifically engineered to offer highly accurate real-time tracking of an object’s angular velocities. As a result, these products allow for the offset of angular rates to factor in turn and tilt.

The TAG product line allows Inertial Labs to better serve customers with highly specialized projects that track angular rate data only, offering an exponentially smaller and lighter product ideal for limited space and weight capacity, whether airborne or ground-based. By comparison, fully integrated inertial measurement units (IMU) can be used in a variety of situations, tracking multiple data types to provide data on orientation, position, and velocity.

Inertial Labs TAG products will primarily benefit electro-optical stabilization platforms. This includes commercial UAVs for Remote Sensing or Photogrammetry and stabilizing Remote Weapons Stations (RWS). Remote weapons systems (or stations) and vehicle-mounted weapons must adjust for angular shifts, while tracking, aiming, and firing at products, and will benefit from this low-cost solution. The all-new product line is also ideal for aerial surveillance solutions that must account for angular shift, whether securing traditional footage or using thermal or night vision optics. Commercial applications, including drones, photogrammetry, and some LiDAR projects, can also benefit from the TAG-200 and TAG-300 if they only require stabilization or angular offsets.

Inertial Labs, already the leader in position and orientation sensor technologies, is growing its catalog of innovative solutions at the best value, smallest size, and lowest power consumption in their class. From commerce and industry to government, defense, and aerospace, Inertial Labs is at the forefront of developing and customizing products for exciting technologies, solving today’s problems, and unraveling those of tomorrow.
