Part of Natural Disasters Expo USA, this newer show puts firefighters, EMS, law enforcement, rescue teams, and emergency-management professionals in the same room as the vendors building their next generation of equipment. Narrower focus than the big defense expos — disaster preparedness and response, specifically — but a direct line to the people using the gear in the field.

AUSA Annual Meeting & Exposition

North America’s largest land power exposition: over 44,000 attendees, 750+ exhibitors, and delegations from 92 countries packed into the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. This is where the Army lays out its priorities for the year, and where most of the U.S. defense-industrial base shows up to hear it firsthand — including the INS and IMU makers whose hardware ends up on the vehicles and systems being discussed.
