LiDAR Remote Sensing Payload Instrument (RESEPI™)
What is RESEPI
Engineered for partners and resellers in the remote sensing industry, the Remote Sensing Payload Instrument, or RESEPI™, has evolved into a versatile family of advanced sensor-fusion platforms. Powered by Inertial Labs’ GNSS-aided Inertial Navigation Systems – including the dual-antenna INS-D with an integrated tactical-grade IMU—it functions as a high-performance datalogger, LiDAR, camera, and communications system that allows for real-time visualization and precise 3D point cloud generation via post-processing. The platform features upgraded processing capabilities, up to 512GB of high-speed internal storage, a Wi-Fi interface, an embedded cellular modem for RTCM corrections, and gigabit ethernet.
The RESEPI™ ecosystem offers tailored hardware configurations to meet diverse mission requirements. The lineup features the NDAA-compliant, airborne TELEDYNE EchoONE, the compact and lightweight RESEPI Ultra LITE (featuring the XT-32), and the next-generation RESEPI GEN-II platform available with OS1-ILX and M2X-ILX scanners. For complete LiDAR and RGB payload setups, the RESEPI LITE series seamlessly integrates industry-standard scanners such as the OS1-64, CL-360HD, XT-32M2X, XT-32, VLP-32C, and AVIA. Designed for effortless aerial deployment, all systems feature field-swappable mounts and SnapFit Payload Adapters for mechanical and data communication via MAVLink and DJI PSDK, providing out-of-the-box compatibility with leading commercial UAV platforms from manufacturers such as DJI, Freefly, WISPR, Wingtra, and others.
The device was built from the ground up for white-labeling. Your logo can be placed across the entire software ecosystem and hardware: LiDAR calibration software, boresighting software, Point Cloud software, and web interfaces. All components are mounted into a compact, lightweight, and rugged enclosure.
RESEPI is completely flexible: you can supply your own GNSS receiver or LiDAR, or rely on us to provide everything required for assembling, calibrating, and boresighting. This allows you to maintain existing vendor relationships and meet local production requirements while having complete control over customization.
Today, RESEPI is a comprehensive, turnkey remote sensing solution supported by PCMasterPro – a powerful proprietary software suite designed for data download, boresighting, strip alignment, and point cloud generation. Value-Added Resellers can focus entirely on growing their business rather than developing a hardware payload from scratch. We will support and grow the product together to meet the market requirements with a commitment to supplying the best price-to-performance solution to you, as our Business Partner.

RESEPI Partner Opportunities
Software Development
As the remote sensing market progresses, so do the hardware and software solutions that enable partners to provide end-users with quality deliverables. The streamlined process offered by the RESEPI allows for one-click processing and real-time data output from the payload to assist in machine learning and localized mapping algorithm development. The Inertial Labs team provides a custom-branded hardware and software solution for partners to develop personalized services. In future iterations of the RESEPI, NVIDIA graphics will allow for even more in-depth computer vision and machine learning applications.
Partner Branding
Value Added Resellers can focus on growing their business rather than developing or producing their desired final payload product. Allow us to assist you, and we will support and grow the product together to meet the market requirements you want with a personal commitment to supplying you with the best price/performance solution. By Inertial Labs providing the White-Label solution, partners get to focus on quality lead generation and customer relationships instead of prioritizing the tedious processes needed for quality manufacturing and R&D.Growth Mindset
The RESEPI platform was built for growth. Whether your market is autonomous navigation (SLAM), surveying, or inspections for construction sites, RESEPI is modular and built to fuel the projects of tomorrow. Inertial Labs offers opportunities to partner with companies interested in taking scanning solutions to the next level. Future iterations of RESEPI are expected to have high-performance GPUs and CPUs to aid in bringing solutions to the world of autonomy.
Use Cases for the RESEPI
Remote Sensing with LiDAR
Modern airborne LiDAR technology delivers unprecedented data density and precision for complex geospatial analysis. Integrated into the RESEPI™ ecosystem, high-performance scanners from industry leaders like Teledyne and Ouster completely redefine mapping workflows. For instance, advanced configurations like the TELEDYNE EchoONE can generate up to 4.8 million data points per second, allowing operators to capture high-resolution 3D point clouds and penetrate dense vegetation with sub-centimeter accuracy across terrestrial, airborne, and mobile applications.
Scanning and Mapping
Perhaps area mapping is still the most significant domain for remote sensing. Making sense of the physical world by analyzing maps and 3D models allows businesses to make faster and more informed decisions that increase efficiency and profit and, more importantly, improve safety. A few of the most often used bases can be on our land vehicles or Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV).
Precision Agriculture with LiDAR
LiDAR technology is instrumental in developing 3D farmland models, aiding crop planning, and producing accurate maps of natural resources. In addition, it can be used in crop yield forecasting, field management, land segmentation, and determination of soil type.Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) Algorithm Development
RESEPI can generate a point cloud in real-time. This feature, aiding imagery from other optical sources such as RGB and thermal cameras, can lay the foundation for SLAM algorithm development.
Utility Inspection
Drones equipped with LiDAR and Photogrammetry technology are a much cheaper and safer option when compared to other aerial scanning methods or manual inspection. With innovative LiDAR and Photogrammetry algorithms, users can reconstruct utilities and identify potential hazards and damages.Construction Site Monitoring
Drones equipped with RGB cameras and LiDAR technology enable construction companies to monitor project progress regularly. In addition, LiDAR point cloud color schemes are a helpful tool for the visualization of elevation, which makes 3D analysis of the ground and structures much more accessible.
Land Surveying
Discover the precision and efficiency of Inertial Labs’ land survey solutions, designed to streamline topographic mapping, boundary surveys, and construction site assessments. Our cutting-edge MEMS-based devices provide accurate GNSS-aided positioning and orientation, delivering reliable data even in challenging environments. Enhance your land survey operations with unmatched performance and durability, ensuring precise results every time.
RESEPI Supported Software
The RESEPI™ software ecosystem delivers a seamless workflow from automated data capture to custom processing. It features an embedded Web-In browser interface for real-time hardware configuration, RTK NTRIP status monitoring, and direct data logging control in the field. For deep customization, a comprehensive Software Development Kit (SDK) allows enterprise partners to modify processing pipelines. Additionally, built-in LiDAR Calibration utilities calculate precise angular misalignments (boresighting) between the scanner and the IMU, ensuring maximum geometric accuracy.
Process Data with Confidence in PCMasterPro
