APNT

Alternative PNT (APNT) solutions that can continuously produce accurate navigation information.

March 30, 2025

For years, the traditional position, navigation, and timing (PNT) industry has heavily relied on multi-constellation Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) based navigation systems for aerial applications. In an era of electronic warfare, this over-reliance has been exploited, as GNSS jamming and spoofing are an exceptionally prevalent threat to such systems in real-world use cases. As a result, the need for complementing and reducing reliance on traditional GNSS-based fusion systems is a critical problem for defense applications, which prompts the need for resilient, alternative PNT (APNT) solutions that can continuously produce accurate navigation information and time synchronization outputs irrespective of GNSS availability.

2024 Assured PNT Summit

ASSURED PNT SUMMIT

National Housing Center, Washington, DC, USA

May 29-30, 2024

DSI’s 4th Annual Assured Positioning, Navigation and Timing (APNT) Summit brings together members of the Military Services, DoD, Federal Government, Industry and Academia in a town-hall style forum to discuss the latest developments of PNT systems and GPS alternatives. PNT is a critical enabler for all warfighting functions across all domains and ensures the central component of situational awareness to the Warfighter: accurate and trusted positioning.
